EPOS stands for Electronic Point of Sale digital system and is a computerized system used in shops, restaurants, and other retail outlets. Electronic Point of Sale (EPOS) is a combination of hardware and software designed to help you run your business more effectively. Where traditional till systems record sales, EPOS systems not only record this transactional information but can then generate detailed reports in response to the input data.

A lot of Electronic Point of Sale (EPOS) running all around the World either on Desktop or on Mobile or on Website. All of these are providing individual services to users. If a person wants to start his POS Business on all Platform (Desktop, Web, and Mobile) at the same time, all of these having a single Database, there is no such system available in this world that will fill all of these requirements.

But this EPOS having a lot of problems. EPOS is providing Service Individually each of them either on Desktop or on Website or on Mobile App having a separate database, no Centralized Database. There is a lot of work is required for some data entry on different databases. Changes are in one database required to updated other databases. In Such EPOS data duplication is a major issue. There is no such EPOS that is available in full packages (Desktop Mobile App, Website).

In modern era especially in UK and America user’s requirement is to have such an EPOS having (Desktop, Mobile, Website) system, all of these having centralized database connected to each other and fulfill all requirement of users.

The main purpose of this project to build up such EPOS for Takeaway, Restaurant, Shops, and Hostel all around the world having a centralized database and available in on all platforms.

So we have decided to make such EPOS that is available in this platform (Desktop, Mobile App,) and each platform provides services through a centralized cloud database.

Project Objectives

Build up an EPOS that is available on all platforms (Desktop, Mobile App) and each platform provides services using a centralized cloud database.

  • Reduce Duplication of efforts

Sales reports in spreadsheets are static and need not be repeated on a very regular basis to see any trends.

  • Minumum Labor intensive.

Data entry for all platforms requires users to work in a single worksheet for simple transactions. Once  Data entry happens, all platforms will use it, So minimum labor is required.  

  • Decision making

  • Time intensive
