A solar car is a solar vehicle used for land transport. Solar cars combine technology typically used in the aerospace, bicycle, alternative energy and automotive industries. The design of a solar vehicle is severely limited by the amount of energy input into the car. Most solar cars have been built for the purpose of solar car races. Since 2011 also solarpowered cars for daily use on public roads are designed.    solar cars depend on PV cells to convert sunlight into electricity. Unlike solar thermal energy which converts solar energy to heat for either household purposes, industrial purposes or to be converted to electricity, PV cells directly convert sunlight into electricity. When sunlight (photons) strikes PV cells, they excite electrons and allow them to flow, creating an electrical current. PV cells are made of semiconductor materials such as silicon and alloys of indium, gallium and nitrogen. Silicon is the most common material used and has an efficiency rate of 15-20%. 

Project Objectives

In our final year project we done hybrid solar car in which we used potassium battery , the efficiency of our solar car will be more than solar car in which lithium battery used

The specific objectives of this project

  1. Development of prototype hybrid electric vehicle base on polar panel
  2. Comparison of developed hybrid vehicle with solar in lithium battery is used
  3. Efficiency of hybrid solar car
Project Implementation Method

In this project we used main component like lithium-potassium battery and BMS sensor they will help to raise efficiency of car, the function of lithium-potassium battery faster charger than lithium-ion battery and BMS sensor will indicate battery is fully charged now cut off from supply due this sensor life of battery increase this is advantage, control car by mobile Bluetooth.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

In modern world renewable resources are used in current technology so these types of hybrid cars are necessary, these types of invention reduce fuel cost many solar cars were made

But electric hybrid car is best invention due potassium battery and BMS sensors make it more valuable and efficient product
