We will develop an ecommerce website to assist blind and visually impaired people to automatically recognize patterns and colors for their product. We will use such color patterns and color schemes and contrasts so that it should be easier for all types of user to identify a product with same color and properties even if they are visually impaired or blind to achieve this functionality we will use voice recognition system and repeated color patterns to be easily recognized and assist visually impaired and blinds to detect and understand colors .In recent years online shopping has grown significantly worldwide. As the technology advanced, new techniques such as (HTML 5 and Flash-based content, JavaScript etc.) are used in e-commerce websites to visually present information. However, these new techniques have accessibility problems for people with disabilities (visually impaired/blind) when accessed using assistive technology. Therefore, it is also important to adopt web accessibility such as the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) in business-to-consumer (B2C) e-commerce websites to increase the consumer’s satisfaction of all ages and with disabilities (visually impaired/blind)

Project Objectives

• The proposed system is “Ecommerce based website for Visually Impaired/blind People using Speech Recognition”
• To enable the handicapped especially visually impaired. It is quite challenging task for visually impaired peoples to use this ecommerce based framework. Hence in order to allow handicapped peoples especially visually impaired peoples to use this ecommerce website site without any limitations we are developing an ecommerce based application using speech recognition to eliminate or reduces the various practical difficulties that the visually impaired peoples come across
• To help blind people to shop online easily by voice reorganization and by giving them description of products through voice
• To make shopping easy for color blind people by using correct color combination and usage of bold and understandable text
• Our goal is to make an ecommerce website that help visually impaired/blind to shop online from home.
