With the help of EasyKaam app we provide these services to a large variety of users searching for these services. It will empower the users to book services anytime anywhere in a specific location using this application. Moreover, users can schedule their services when they have free time. We will ensure quality of our work through costumer's reviews and feedback so we can improve our services to satisfy our customers.When you use this app, you’ll be connected with a pool of local handyman professionals who can take care of this work for you. In addition to freeing up your time for the more important things in life.
The inspiration behind this project (EasyKaam) is that, it’s too much difficult to find a professional technician. One aspect is that to find these handymen through word of mouth or through querying from a hardware store nearby. The obvious problem with this is that most of these handymen lacked professionalism, and / or skills. Furthermore they are often unavailable or not reliable, or simply charge much higher than what is considered reasonable. It’s clear that there is a need for a professional handyman services and we jumped at the idea!
Project ObjectivesThe main objectives of the proposed project are:
- To develop a user friendly handyman android application.
- To facilitate the public in terms of basic services like plumbing, electrical, mechanical works etc.
- To provide easy access to professional / skilful technicians.
- To facilitate the jobless technical Experts.
- To facilitate the jobless technical students.
The activities for the application development process are listed as follows:
Pre Development Survey:
In the initial stage, we will conduct ground survey regarding the need for developing “EasyKaam” application. We will gather the customer’s requirements that we will use as an input to the proposed android application. We will also look for additional services like bidding and distance based availability of different personnel.
Android-Based app Development:
- Setup environment for app development
- The registration page for User / Technician
- Additional Services
- Use of Google Maps API’s
The team would develop an android application using Android Studio. The application would be delivered to the users with an interface that is tempting and user-friendly. It would deliver better services by contacting relevant people for the job to the end user and would result in a technological impact among the skillful handyman technicians and the domestic users.
Prototype delivery (Via Marketing Personally):
Visiting personally to negotiate with skillful professional technicians to offer their services through this app. We will register all the Individuals who are willing to utilize our app.
Post-Survey:
This survey will be conducted that will provide their feedback in terms of negative, positive or neutral. Moreover they can suggest extra features and services to the app. This survey will help us in extending the app with new features if needed.
