Project Summary

We are developing a job portal that will help the job seekers to connect with recruiters in the simplest
possible way. Search for jobs and enhance their professional reputation by choosing the best job for
yourself. A career management tool reducing the gap between seekers and recruiters. The website in which
Company’s employees/recruiters can register their company and post job vacancies. Job seekers will register
on the job portal and then login with email and password to apply for jobs by uploading CV. Company will
receive notification when someone applies for the job. Company will view the candidate's profile and the
candidate can also view the company's profile. Company and Candidate can have a live meeting session
with each other. Candidates can review companies with text and video or companies can review candidates
based on their performances. Live google map is implemented for job locations . You can see nearby jobs on
your location live on google map.
Job boards are designed to streamline the application process and make finding a job easier. By utilizing the
built-in features of job boards, you can free up more time to do in person job searches or work on extra
education to enhance your career. With so many benefits to using job boards, it just makes sense to sign up
for a few to help you make the most of your job search time and locate as many potential career
opportunities as possible

Project Objectives

• To develop a user friendly job portal interface.
• To develop an online search portal for job seekers.
• To facilitate the company to search for the best candidate available.
• To build a system that will act as a link connecting companies and job seekers.

Project Implementation Method

For our web application we’ll be following a conventional MVC pattern in which we’re using Angular 8
for frontend, Java Spring Boot for backend and MySQL as our database.

? Spring Boot exports REST Apis using Spring Web MVC & interacts with MySQL
Database using Spring Data JPA.
? Angular Client sends HTTP Requests and retrieves HTTP Responses using Axios, shows
data on the components. We also use Angular Router for navigating to pages.

Benefits of the Project

Searching on a website for a specific job can be hectic. There is no option to have a meeting online and take
an interview of the candidate. Recently, most of the people who applied for jobs in covid 19 pandemic could
not appear due to lockdown. Google map is not implemented for job location, which causes trouble for new
candidates. We are offering extensive features such as live meeting, An employer of the company or
Recruiter or a Candidate can have a live meeting session with each other.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

The main purpose of this project is to save time. It takes time to check advertisements and then submit
documents manually. Sometimes, it becomes difficult for job seekers to travel to other areas to submit their
CV. Login will be mandatory to apply for a job. Security measures will be taken out with great care.
