E-Exam is a platform meant to revolutionize education system by replacing the excessive use of papers with our application. Nearly 4 billion trees cut around the world are used in paper industries. Our aim is so to minimize the use of papers with technology. Two main industries which are doing the massive use of papers are Government and Corporate sector and Education system. Our target market is the education system. This project is an android application for students and faculty. This innovative system allows school/college faculty to make and conduct exams from the student and students will allow to attempt the exam on our application.

Project Objectives

As the population increases day by day the use of paper is also increasing, so do the cutting down of trees effecting the environment which causes the pollution and it also increase the rate of diseases. In the sake of saving the environment and minimize this rapidly growing death cause warning. We built an educational android application. It consists of a faculty login along with student login. Teacher will create the exam and he will have options to assign it to the whole class as well as specific student also. Teacher can also update or delete the exam on student side they will attempt the test and it can online submit to the corresponding teacher and teacher generate the result which can be visible to the students. This app also provides multiple features like teacher can upload paper solution after conducting the test and students can tally their paper to a solution and our application automatically generate the obtained marks out of total. Once student start the test, he cannot have any access to another thing in his phone until he completes the test and submit it.

Benefits of the Project

Nearly 4 billion trees worldwide are cut down each year for paper, representing about 35 percent of all harvested trees. This world map shows the Earth's vegetation. (Source: NASA). World consumption of paper has grown 400 percent in the last 40 years. Now nearly 4 billion trees or 35 percent of the total trees cut around the world are used in paper industries on every continent. In short, paper is everywhere. And on another hand, it also chances that the exams paper maybe lost or burn out and it’s difficult to manage, store and secure the exam papers. So, in the solution to this we make android based project which are based on two modules i.e. Teacher Module and a Student Module. On one side teacher can make exam and, on another side, student can attempt the exam and submit it and the exam will be effectively upload on the server through which teacher check the exam and generate the result which can be visible to students.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

In education field this is very unique, advance and useful system which take the learning process to a one step ahead. Initially we launch it on a basic level like school and then further we expand it to the all institutions where it covers the all type of exam sessions and not only it gets us rid of from the over use of pages but also save the time and fast the process of conducting, attempting and checking the exams
