Project Area of Specialization Computer ScienceProject SummaryA new system that provides handwashing while consuming over 95% less water. The machine is integrated with a fog-based system that converts water in the tank to fog and drives it in the handwash chamber. After 5- 15 seconds of water fog exposure, the soap on the user's hand is washed down with the fog. This requires less than 95% of the water that would be required in traditional tap-based hand washing. This project can save a lot of water during these water crises. The system has an admin panel through which it can monitor the usage or the fluids level, etc. There is also the interaction of IoT through which the admin can monitor these interactions. There is also a micro-controller through which the system will be working.
Project ObjectivesThe project can save water and it's innovative to use. The admin can also monitor the fluid levels or the other interaction made by the user.
Project Implementation MethodThe first part of the project is hardware-based and we are using Arduino Uno and different sensors to detect the hand and sanitize them. The second part of the project is software plus hardware-based. In the second part, we are using Node MCU, which is an open source platform based on ESP8266 that can connect objects and let data transfer using the Wi-Fi protocol. Furthermore, there is a mobile application that can monitor the user.
Benefits of the ProjectThe project can save water and it's innovative to use. The admin can also monitor the fluid levels or the other interaction made by the user. The main benefit of the project is it can disinfect by using less than 95% of sanitizers and water.
Technical Details of Final DeliverableFirst of all, we connected and integrated each sensor into the Arduino then we started our programming on Arduino. After this, we added a Temperature sensor to detect the hand and then fog machines got started, after that, we added Float Sensors to know the Fluid Level of the Containers. we then added a module known as Node MCU to send the details of the user to the database and where the admin can monitor the user. The admin can see the fluid level and the number of users who used the machine.
