Project Area of Specialization RoboticsProject SummaryWhen it comes to health, people think of living in germs free atmosphere & make sure that what they are touching is germ free. But it wasn’t even enough to maintain the good health by just making an idea of is this area is germ free or not. If we want to clean our infected area so there must be a human representative who is doing the job to clean the surface and atmosphere using some spray which is actually harming himself as well. In order to overcome this problem, we proposed an idea of detecting the germs rate and cleaning the surface without human interference. The proposed idea is that there will be a drone, which is going to detect the infection rate of the surface and decides whether this area should be disinfected or not. If the system generates a message to disinfect the area by checking its infection rate, the drone will try to disinfect it with a laser light and will again check the infection rate to clarify whether the surface is disinfected or not. This idea will consist on an application, a drone and a robot.
Project ObjectivesAs our project is based on germs free environment for people and clearly dedicated to the people who lost their lives in covid19 pandemic. We have set clear objectives such as
- Giving people germs free environment
- Providing hospitals a service of sterilizing operation theatres without spray
- Keeping people away from germ cleaning as this can affect their health
- Serving humanity with a noble cause of saving lives of people from germs infection
As our project is based on hardware and software as well. So there are a lot of area we are covering in this project such as image processing, Data Science, MERN Stack, AWS cloud storage services. Following are the details of implementation of these techniques.
- Used image processing to detect germs over surface
- Data Science is being used to calculate the germs rate
- MERN Stack is being used to develop our android and IOS application
- AWS services are utilized in storing the data of previous disinfection activities
- Keeping environment germs free
- Disinfecting with minimum human interaction
- Calculating the germs ratio on the surface
- Only disinfecting the surface when necessary
- Storing the previous data of disinfection activities
- Making disinfection without spray which can help reduce death rate from cleaning surface with human involvement
- Disinfection without putting humans at risk
- In our system, there is drone being controlled by application and remote as well
- The drone is connected to application for operating the disinfection module of our project
- Deep UV LED lights are being used in this project for killing the germs of all kind in air and on surface as well. Germs can also be killed in water using Deep UV LED emitters.
- MQTT protocol is being used for communication between application and drone
- The Data will be sent to AWS cloud and whenever it is required to the app, it can be fetched from AWS to the application.
