Project Area of Specialization Information & Communication TechnologyProject SummaryThe field of our project is “Digital Notice Board”. You can access this app as long as you have your cell phone in your hands. This application rely on internet connection. Our project is Digital Notice Board.The Main Idea of this Project is Teacher Write Message from mobile Application from any location after this notification will be display on LCD which we install on outside of Teacher Room. The project is built Node WEMOS D1 mini and Android Application and WIFI is used for transfer data. It is user friendly. By pasting various notices day today is a difficult process. A separate person is required to do this task. This project is about advanced wireless notice board. The project is built WEMOS and Android Application. Display is obtained on Small LCD display. A Wi-Fi is used for data transfer. At any time we can add as well as remove the text according to our requirement. At transmitter android phone is used for sending notices. At receiving end Wi-Fi is connected WEMOS .When an user sends a notice from the Android app it actually update our firebase database, WEMOS Check database after every 5sec and display information on LCD.
Project ObjectivesIts objectives are:
- An automatic self-enabled highly reliable electronic notice board.
- A display connected to a server system should continuously listen for the incoming messages from client or user process it.
- Display it on the LCD screen message displayed should be updated every time the user sends new data only authenticated people should be able to able to access the server.
First of all we can create the account on the firebase and attach this account to the android. In the section we can set the read and write mode rules and coding for our application like we are use Android 4.1 our application. By using android we can design the front end and the back phase of our project application. At android frond end we can set the splash screen and set the current message in this section we set the predefined Message like our template and at the end we set the custom Message. We are also set the button that are used to send message on the LCD. After this by using Arduino 1.8 we can set the loop for getting data from the firebase and set the length of the words that are display on the LCD. We can set the host an authentication in the Arduino 1.8 that used in the firebase. At the firebase we can create the project of the LCD and the real-time database. By fire we can update the message. We can set the Nod and the message on the firebase. Whenever our project is create then we can connect to our LCD to the power bank or the other electrical device and send message by using this phone application.
Benefits of the ProjectAn App for Android devices created which allows authorize users to send message to display on LCD placed in department.
Technical Details of Final DeliverableWe have launched a system that provide real-time updates about every Notification. An android App and LCD is designed. Main objective of system is to notify the staff to alert about important message from department. We developed a cost-effective system that does not require an extra person to deliver messages. The important thing is that LCD screen message displayed should be updated every time the user sends new data only authenticated people should be able to able to access the server. It is very wonderful to access it on your own mobile phone any time.
