Digi Café is a cafe application that has its focus on resolving real-time problems in cafe (i.e: waiting in long queues). This app will not only allow customers to order food online but also help the admin to manage the record of the ordered food. All they need to do is to login from their account. They can order food and get it prepared within minutes without any hassle.

Project Objectives

To facilitate students and facilities in the universities and to reduce the long queues in the university cafeteria. 

Project Implementation Method

The admin module is developed which allows the user to manage cafe employees, manage food menu and manage vouchers. The admin can nominate food items for a particular day. Those food items will be displayed to the customer (student/faculty) and then they will vote for them. The most voted dish will be displayed in the food menu. The student can add items from the food menu into the cart and then it will place the order against the selected food items. The customer can also apply voucher to it's order. Both customer and admin will use mobile applications to carry out operations. After the order is placed . The order is displayed on the kitchen screen. This will be a web based application with very large vistualization that can be viewed from the distance. Moreover, when the order will be prepared in the kitchen the food will move towards the serving staff. The customer will come to the serving staff and scan the qr code. After scanning the qr code the order details will be displayed to the serving staff. The serving staff will cross check the ordwr details with the food being delivered and will then deliver the food to the user. The serving staff application will be a web based application. 

Benefits of the Project

It will reduce the time to order and get the food.

It will reduce the long queues in the cafeteria. 

In panademics like covid-19, it will save from cash counter being crowded with the people  so will save from being infected.

It will also help the admin to keep track of it's employees and sales.

This application will allow students and faculty to vote for their desired food on a particular day. Doing it they can enjoy their meal.

It will also allow the customer to give feedback on their food. 

The admin can improve their services by viewing customer feedbacks.
