We have to design an appratus for electricity generation or mechanical power by vortex flow using a turbine, a specific flow rate is required, which we will calculate and we will make some changes in turbine blade to check the effect on RPM of turbine. 

Project Objectives

We aim to design a cost effective, environment friendly and relaible vortex flow turbine Apparatus by using different dimensions of turbines and flow tank, 

Project Implementation Method

Where there are easily availability of water resources, we can use this apparatus over there to produce mechanical power and electrical power, we can reduce the electrical breakdown by using this apparatus in different areas, as it will be a cost effective method to obtain high efficient mechanical power or electrical power

Benefits of the Project

As there is easily availabilty of water reservoirs in earth, so by using this apparatus we can reduce the electrical breakdown, this project is also workable in northern areas where there is easily availablity of water everywhere.. This is a cost effective process for producing maximum power output.. We donot require much pressure head as thata will be  a complicated work, and increasing expenses

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

We use a turbine with different runner arrangements and shapes to improve our power output. We will also use different flowrates and runner material to increase efficiency. We use ANSYS for our simulation as an extra work. We change various parameters to increase output.
