After meeting with the production engineer of the local industry he briefly explained to us the problem being faced by the engineers.
In previous years, workers from the local industry were using the hand grinder and other conventional methods to remove the material, following problems were still there even after improving a lot.

The process of removing unwanted material from the surface is influenced by many parameters. The following results are obtained after applying different conditions on the ASTFM . The condition includes the changing of the Grinding wheel, Change in Speed of the
The motor that drives the Mechanism, and by applying different techniques on the surface of the Water tank mold before the process starts.
The purpose of the experiments is to find out the capability of the Automatic Surface treatment and Finishing Machine. There are the following methods that were applied for checking the accuracy of ASTFM. Surface Hardness test and cutting depth test.
Project Implementation MethodThis project will be eliminating the problem that was being faced during the usage of conventional tools. This automatic surface treatment and finishing machine are using a mechanism that will reduce the manpower up to a minimum with a high rpm grinding wheel and mechanism which will drive the machine back and forth. For this purpose gear, the motor is used with high torque and low rpm to get better accuracy in the maximum possible way. For the maximum RPM of the Grinding wheel, a Vibration motor with 2800 rpm is used with a vibration rod and further attachment. This whole mechanism takes less time in completing the job with high accuracy and better surface finish.
