Project Objectives

To detect alcohol level in driver’s body and notify the driver. (GL)  

To limit the speed on a certain level through speed controller. (GM1)

To send alert message to the registered mobile numbers using GSM in case of emergency. (GM2)

Project Implementation Method

1st Objective Methology

MQ3 sensor is a metal oxide semiconductor (MOS) type of sensor. It's detect ethanol in the air. MQ3 alcohol sensor is used to measure the alcohol level of the body and then send the data to microcontroller, where the condition applies. If the alcohol level is greater then threshold the speed will decrease into certain range.

MQ3 sensor enclosed with two layer called anti explosion network that protect inside layer and second is to filter out suspended particles so only gas molecule able to pass. The range of this sensor is up to four meters, Its highly stable and fast response. MQ3 alcohol sensor works on 5V DC and draws around 800mW. It can detect Alcohol concentrations anywhere from 25 to 500 ppm.

2nd Objective Methology

Cruise control (Also known as speed control,cruise command,auto cruise, or tempomat) is a system that autmoatically controls the speed of motor vehicle. This system is a servomechanism that takes over the throttle of the car to maintain a steady speed as set by the driver. The Cruise command unit was started through a push button once the desired speed was reached and then the throttle position was automatically adjusted by vacuum control directly from the speedometer cable rather than through an adjustable control on the dashboard. The cruise control takes it's speed from a rotating driveshaft speedometer cable wheel speed sensor from the engine's.

3rd Objective Methology

When an accident occurs, it is detected with help of a sensor which activates the device, the sensor gives its output to the microcontroller. The microcontroller sends the alert. After receiving GPS signal, the latitude and longitude of the current position of the vehicle is displayed and a emergency alert message with current location is send to the nearest help santer and hospital.

Benefits of the Project

Alcohol Detector in Car project is designed for the safety of the people seating inside the car. Alcohol Detection with Vehicle Controlling project helps to control the vehicle in case the driver has consumed the alcohol. An alcohol breath analyzer project should be fitted/ installed inside the vehicle. it reduces the accident chances duo to alcohol and also we added a accident detection alert system so the accident cause by any condition i will send to alert message to nearby hospital to get ambulance etc on to save the life.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

We have deliver our porject hardware basis and save the lifes of people's who died the reason of Alcohol Accidents.
