A hovercraft, also known as an air-cushion automobile or ACV, is an amphibious craft capable of traveling over land, water, dust, ice, and other surfaces. Hovercraft use blowers to provide a large extent of air under the hull, or air cushion, this is barely above atmospheric pressure.
