Project Area of Specialization RoboticsProject SummaryThe versatility of 3D models created by photographs allows them to be used in a wide range of sectors, including construction, which may monitor the development of their building sites with frequent updates. Architecture and engineering businesses utilize comprehensive context models for their buildings to retain details such as blue prints, while the gaming industry may use ready-made 3D models in their games. Even e-commerce companies are embracing 3D modeling to give a more comprehensive picture of their goods. This process is done by using Photogrammetry, it is a technique for extraction of three-dimensional measurements from two-dimensional data. This project intends to provide this service for free, with a much more user-friendly UI and operation technique. We will look into open source 3D modeling projects for implementation, as well as Matlab for a better knowledge of core concepts.

Benefits of the ProjectIn today's world, 3D models of architectural structures are critical for studying, analyzing, and reconstructing documentation. In comparison to graphic-based object models, visualization of these models helps the user to acquire a more photorealistic image of the structures. These three-dimensional models can be used in a variety of fields, including architecture, civil engineering, and game development.
In this project, we use drone to take images of an area and then by the help of image stitching technique creates the mega 3D image.
Technical Details of Final DeliverableThere is a web application in which we can upload 2d images taken from drone or any other source (if the user have not the drone) after that it will process and give the output in 3D images and user can download it for his ease.
