Project Summary

In 1850, Warington bring out the principle of the aquarium  in the Chemical Society's journal. In which he described that plants added to water in a container would give off enough oxygen to hold up animals as their numbers do not grow too large. In 1853, Philip Henry Gosse made and merchandise the first public aquarium in the London Zoo, known as fish house. Henry Gosse coined the word “aquarium” here aqua means “water” and rium means “place for related to. .  Marine life in aquarium are continuously producing harmful impurities and proteins which should be continuously removed is considered as a big problem in today’s aquariums.The water is equally important for living lives. The marine life requires equal attention for clean environment. The impurities in existing acquram creates threat for the life of marine in result, fishes could not survive and could die as well, also for existing acqurims the removing impurities from water in the aquarium is a crucial issue. The level of pH of water ,amount of dissolved oxygen in water and temperature of water and so on is very much important to record to save marine life. Furthermore, the manual changing of water level and its testing take plenty time and efforts. To built and automated water monitoring system by using internet of things(iot)application for aquarium.frequent testing of water quality parameter such as dissolved oxygen on daily basis to check dissolve doxygen level in the water.this system will help to the aquators to avoided the manual work and generate a balanced system where fishes can be survivable.this system is based on low cost electronic sensor level detection,an automated concentration measurementsystem is introduced to control the dissolved oxygen that affect the health of fishes we propose an iot based solution.this whole system is automated and give wireless control with the help of wifi.the results are shown via mobile app.

Project Objectives

Due to the increasing demand of aquariums ,Keeping Aquariums are being considering as a hobby or the piece of decoration. It need  time and manpower  for maintaining the aquarium consequently, there is an increasing concern for safe and sustainable food source for fishes.A basic aquarium must be supplied with good water therefore the water must be pure this require frequent testing when first building and implementing our aquarium system ,daily testing should be conducted. Its important to keep an eye on dissolved oxygen and must be monitored .although there are wellknown and widely used methods for the measurement of water parameters with appropriate sensor. Such sensors have to operate automatically in the required environment although such applications require high reliability ,accurate sensors with reduced level of maintenance ,longlifetime,fast response time.the mainobjective of the project is to built an automated system , which will monitor the water qautilty of aquarium and detects the dissolved oxygen level in the water and thus it will recognize that the water is survivable for fishes or not.

 this project will be very economical ,convenient and fast

This system can be expand to the industry level or agriculture production by adding some new changes and features

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

this whole system will runs on 220volts

 and arduino consumes 5volts

 sensor consumes 4volts

this system life expectancy is 5years+
