Project ObjectivesThe purpose of our studies is to develop an instrument which is used to scan harmful items which are underneath tight clothes. During this purpose we have used number of techniques for the detection of harmful items which are well explained in literature review.
Project Implementation MethodFirst of all, we take images/live video from camera sensor. The IR image is distribution of temperature. After this Image processing will be simple tasks like image resizing. For the purpose of dataset both visual and IR images must be the same in size. On further processing tasks include color transformation or converting color to gray scale. After this we will use image fusion process which will help us to collect all the important information from multiple images and find out the harm full items which we have programmed and give us our required single image including weapon. Now we can easily detect object which will be easier and more reliable when performed on the fused image. After object detection, we use Feature extraction technique which will focus on a large number of pixels of the image which are efficiently represented in such a way that weapon part of the image are captured effectively. Now we will use training for the purpose of testing model. And object classification is used to classify different kind of objects.

We also use this technique more precisely in dangerous weapons and in explosive things to save and protect Mankind
