Many organizations use a manual process to manage organization assets in which their audit team physically moves from office to office, manually counting the assets before putting them into a spreadsheet and records books.
The asset inventory includes not only the asset's names and serial numbers, but also the asset's location within the organization, its operating condition, maintenance status, and inventory quantity, as well as any other information the organization wishes to record.
The goal of this project is to develop a cloud-based web application called Smart Asset Management System for managing any organization's assets.
The Smart Asset Management System (SAMS) is a system for tracking and maintaining valuable assets for an organization or group. It's a system for efficiently deploying, running, maintaining, upgrading, and disposing of assets
