Data from Pakistan railways show that there were about 757 train accidents between 2012 and 2017- an average about 125 incidents every year.
The Centralized system will be able to make some cardinal decision for the safety of Train and the Passengers by using GPS Module interfaced with Arduino board. The GPS Module will not only monitor the train movement but will also generate the alert to both the driver and to the Main control room about the speed on the upcoming turns.
Moreover, the driver screen will receive continuous update about the next upcoming railway signal on his screen using Infrared Sensor and a Transmitter so that any catastrophe. This will be done using Infrared Sensors

HEAD-ON COLLISION:
A head-on collision is basically a collision where two vehicles run into each other face to face. In this Project we are focusing on that too by using Ultrasonic sensor interfaced with Arduino and GPS Module that will keep us inform about the situation and will thus avoid any clash.
CENTRALIZATION:

Benefits of the ProjectThe sole purpose is to maintain the safety and welfare of the people that are traveling by Trains. As we can see in the past few years Train incidents due to a number of various factors have increased greatly due to which people nowadays hesitate to travel by Trains.
The project provides a number of Benefits in various fields:
- Quality of Transportation will be improved greatly.
- Error rate will be reduced by a great factor as a number of things will be automated.
- A higher level of Passengers will eventually be travelling by means of Trains as compared to the present number. Customer/Passenger retention rate will be increased by a significant element.
- Overall fuel consumption will decrease in due course of time.
Pakistan railways carry about 52.2 Million passengers in 2016 and it utilizes about 28 mails, expresses and passengers trains. Railroads are the most broadly utilized and agreeable hubs of transportation framework.

The main focus of this Project is to minimize the probability of these incidents. One of the foremost factors is lack of Maintenance and lack of focusing on the track. We in this Project try to centralize the whole of that mechanism is there is a confusion or indication of recklessness from the driver side so that can be dealt without any delay and without any hesitation.
Main Features that are formulated in this Project are:
- Centralization of the whole Train System including Emergency Stop and initiating the Train again after the stop.
- Moreover, keeping the track of each and every Train in the Area.
- Generating the alert on upcoming turning points in the Trains Routes so that speed of the Train can be monitored frequently and to avoid any misfortunate.
- Displaying the upcoming Railway Signals to the Driver screen so as to keep him alert about the forthcoming situation.
