In today’s world deciding the best career is the hardest decision. Most of the student is upset in their future. This research will describe the current consequences in the evolution of a smart career counseling chatbot. Prediction of the right career is done by using AI and machine learning techniques. By using Al and machine learning, we are able to predict which domain and career option is best for the student.Bot take the user queries, understand and analyze it with the help of NLP concepts, store the information and with the help of the machine learning classifier (decision tree, SVM, XGBoost) predict the best career path, domain. The career can predict by some academic and personal information like percentage of students, Skills, working hours per day, favorite subject, Olympiad, self-learning, communication skills, etc. This project will assist the student to choose the best career domain as pre their abilities and skills.

Methodology This proposed work contains the concepts of artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms which predict the best career path for students. The Chatbot interface design with the help of flask framework using the python programming language. It is a front-end which communicates with the user and obtained the information. The natural language processing (NLP) and different techniques are used to communicate and understand the human language. The system also involves the machine learning algorithms like decision tree for classification or regression as a prediction model, support vector machine SVM also for predictions and the XGBoost classifier to improve the performance and accuracy of the algorithm. The Chatbot in our project is used for obtaining information about student academic performance and the interest. On the basis of this information, it predicts the best career path. This research produces a smart chatbot system for career counseling, in order to assist student in selecting the best career by replying with a suitable response to the user query.
