Creating an application that can automatically detect the type of vehicle, fetch registration number (from government authorized number plate) and charge it according to the vehicle type.

We are making this app to minimize the rate of corruption which is done on toll plazas.

In this Application we are going to detect vehicle and registration number using the techniques of image processing and artificial intelligence.

Application will be specially implemented in government sector’s toll plazas. It can also be implemented in private sectors like in parking plazas

Project Objectives

The main objectives of C-Toll are:

To create an application that can automatically detect the type of vehicle, fetch registration number (from government authorized number plate) and charge it according to the vehicle type.

To record the data, time and vehicle information.

To maintain history of vehicles that passes through that toll boost.

To generate report about total vehicles passed and total earning of that toll boost. 

Project Implementation Method

In this Application we are going to detect vehicle and registration number using the techniques of image processing and artificial intelligence.

Benefits of the Project

We are living in the country where corruption is a serious threat. We cannot completely remove this threat from our society. But we can take some measures to decrease the corruption from our society. New systems have been introduced in European countries to control corruption. We also have to take some serious measures to remove or at least reduce this threat. One of the field in which corruption is most common is toll plazas. That is why we are building a system to keep check on the toll plazas.

So,the main benefit of the project is to reduce corruption on toll plaza

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

This project will help in reducing the corruption it can also be used for security purpose we can keep count of vehicles passing through tol plaza. With the help of this project a recipt will be generated and it will contain the vehicle type and reg number of that vehical.
