Project Area of Specialization Internet of ThingsProject SummaryThe aim is to develop a thrust stand for brushless motors. The project consists of a mechanical setup, an electrical and software system. We use Arduino and MATLAB based system for Graphical User Interface and Data Acquisition System. GUI will generate real-time plots for ease in data reading and the data will be saved continuously. We will also add a slider to increase/decrease the input values. Resultant thrust stand operation and performance data are to be presented.

Designing of mechanical, electrical and software system to be interlinked together and helping in data reading. Strating off with the circuitry its integration with the mechanical model and then establishing a data acquisition system to store and save data.
Benefits of the ProjectThe currently available thrust stands do not havee a proper data acquisition system and can't store data over time. We are particularly working on it to monitor the efficiency of motors overtime.
