According to World Health Organization (WHO), a lot of people suffer from neurodegenerative Parkinson’s disease (PD) worldwide which is one of the categories of paralysis. Although Parkinson’s disease is incurable but specialized therapies and rehabilitation can reduce its effects if they are timely carried out on daily basis which needs more attention and care.

 Parkinson’s disease is graded into five stages and the appearance of tremors indicates the early symptoms of Parkinson’s disease and if it is not treated well in time, it can lead to complete body paralysis for the complete period of subject’s lifespan. This project proposed the specialized solution for the Parkinson Disease patients that contain a wearable tremor measuring and prevention device, which will minimize the effect of tremors through motor controlled gyroscope and servo motor based on accelerometer. Apart from this, to facilitate completely paralyzed subjects, the proposed bionic suit will read the electromyography (EMG) signals from muscles and moves the patient’s body parts as per his/ her desire which basically consists of two arms and two legs that will move in according to the intensions of the patient. Through this project, a hope will be provided to Parkinson Disease patients to enjoy their life again to their fullest heart desire.

To make device that can sense and control tremors and move body parts according to intentions using EMG signals.

Filtering EMG signals and move body parts in according to intentions.

It will help Parkinson Disease patients to help them moving their body parts.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

This project will consist of wearable device that will have motors and EMG to sense the intentions and sensor will give signals to arduino and servo motor will move in according to the intenstions of the patients.
