Project Summary

last year i went to my village for vacation and i saw that there is a very big problem of electricity as wapda is unable to provide electricity to them. it was a very hard time for me there. one thing that was in abundant quantity was the bio waste of animals. after coming back i thought to make a machine which can convert bio waste into electrical energy so that the problem of the people of my village (the shortage of electricity) can be resolved. me along with my team discussed the matter with my supervisor and decided to make a machine which converts biowaste into gas and then that gas can be fed to a generator as a fuel to produce electricity. so that the problem of electricity can be solved with minimum budget.

Project Objectives

our main objective is to target those areas where electricity is less to minimum. we are designing a machine which produces electricity by converting the biowaste(animal waste) into gas by the decomposition method through which methane gas is obtained. this methane gas is stored in hard rubber balloons and than fed to a generator where it is used as a fuel and the electricity is produced by the generator.

Project Implementation Method

our main focus are those areas where there is shortage of electricity and wapda is unable to provide electricity to them. we will install our machine in the area so that the biowaste can be converted into electricity so that the problem of electricity can be reselved.

Benefits of the Project

there are many benefits of our project the main is the production of electricity by something which is a complete waste material seconding the produced electricity will be much cheaper than wapda third the waste can be dispose of properly which makes the environment clean fourth the labour will get the job as it needs men to work in different steops from gathering waste to producing electricity men will work. which will be a great oppertunity for the people which are doing nothing in that areas.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

uCollect the Organic Waste (Livestock Waste, Crops, Waste Water, Food Waste) and then waste is fed into a combustion chamber to be burned.Gas will react with water filter.Biomass is gasified in a downdraft gasifier, which is then wet-scrubbed to condense tars and reduce syngas temperature for the internal combustion engine.Biogas is produced after organic materials (plant and animal products) are broken down by bacteria in an oxygen-free environment, a process called anaerobic digestion. The heat produced by this process boils water & resulting steam is used directly in a heating system.Biogas systems use anaerobic digestion to recycle these organic materials, turning them into biogas, which contains both energy (gas), and valuable soil products (liquids and solids).
