Project Area of Specialization Internet of ThingsProject SummaryThe BikeShike is a rental service and bikes selling/buying platform where you rent your bike, sell or buy a bike. The main objective of the BikeShike Project is to manage the details of Renting, Selling and Buying of bikes through this service. It manages all the information about Sells, Rents and Buys. The project is totally built at the administrative and user end. The purpose of the project is to build an application program to reduce the manual work for managing the selling, buying and renting bikes. It tracks all the details of users.
To provide a computerized data storage facility. We can search easily for any record. The new system requires less time for the completion of any work. The system have user friendly interface and anyone having basic computer knowledge can handle it easily.
Moreover this service is going to provide new jobs for youth and will help to boost country's economy.
Project ObjectivesSome of the main Objectives of BikeShike:
The main objective of this BikeShike system is to take the whole manual work of selling, buying and renting to online system so that it is reachable to customers 24/7. It also aims to provide payment gateways. Thus boosting this industry to new levels. The BikeShike service will be a web-based system with a very user-friendly and unique interface which indeed will make the whole management process easy to manage and operate with zero redundancies. Overall online bikes renting, buying and selling will become an efficient, highly responsive, and extremely accurate system.
Project Implementation MethodThe project's user experience (UX) and user interface design (UI) process will be taken through Adobe XD and Adobe Photoshop.
The Project is developed through Visual Studio. We used Visual Studio for the Design Implementations and coding of the project. All the data will be maintained in the databases of SQL Server, where we create tables, write a query to store data or record of the project.
As my project is an e-commerce platform through this website where people connect with each other to Rent, Buy and Sell their Bikes
Users can view details of the Bikes and the person from whom they are buying,selling or renting without going anywhere.
It is convenient for users as this system provides accurate descriptions of bikes and the person.
The website is flexible to be used and for e-commerce.
Users can view different categories of bikes of different companies in a single place.
BikeShike
is a web-based project if we divide its technical development into different parts its major parts are as follows:
1. Designing:
The initial phase after the communication, requirements gathering, and planning is designing user interface through adobe Photoshop and adobe XD.
2.Prototyping:
For the prototyping of Adobe XD has been used. Adobe XD is the all-in-one UX/UIsolution for designing websites, mobile apps, and more.
3. Development Phase:
For the development of service website technologies used are PHP, MySQL, Javascript (For back end development), HTML, CSS,React and Bootstrap (For frontend designing).
4. Creating Databases:
For every project, we need some data and for its storage and management different databases are used. For the same purpose, we need to create a database that will manage our project-related data (For example user details bikes details etc.) for this purpose we will be using MYSQL.
