Project Summary

Because of the constant increase in the sadness and anger level in the society. Many peoples are getting into psychological issues and the depression level of the society is increasing day by day. There are many factors that can affect the mental health of a person, sadness and anger are one of them. Therefor it is required to create such type of system that can easily identify the behavior of a person or society based on the real time input. This project aims towards the development of an android application that is capable enough to get input in the form of voice from the real time environment and identifies the behavior of a person or society based on sadness, happiness and anger level “emotions”. After getting the results from this mobile application the concerned authorities would be able to implement precautionary measures and provide proper counselling to those individuals just in order to improve the behavior level of the society.  

Project Objectives

This project aims towards the development of an android application that is capable enough to get input in the form of voice from the real time environment and identifies the behavior of a person or society based on sadness, happiness and anger level “emotions”. After getting the results from this mobile application the concerned authorities would be able to implement precautionary measures and provide proper counselling to those individuals just in order to improve the behavior level of the society.  

Project Implementation Method

It is difficult to know about the behavior of an individual or group, the problem here is every person does not tell you truth about what he / she is felling or he / she is going from which phase of life such as most of the people did not tell anyone when they are felling sad but they spoke to their closed ones in their workspace or organization. This project takes their voice as input from the microphone sensor converts it into text using an application which uses google voice to text API after converting that voice to text the next step is to apply an algorithm on that text which we got from the voice. That algorithm runs on the given text and checks the level of happiness, level of sadness and level of anger etc. from that particular conversation that is going on between different individuals. After finding the results this app will generate a report based on the result.

The scope of our project is wide it can be implemented in a school, college, university, industry or at any workplace. Anyone who wants to predict how his employees / people working under him / working with him are sad, happy or angry can implement this project at his work space and get his results within a short span of time. After getting results he / she would easily take some steps for the betterment of his / her organization.
