Project Summary

So many of our soldiers have been sacrificed due to the unexpective attacks of terrorists on our border areas. Terrorists cut the wires on borders and attack the  soldiers silently. This is basically the main reason because a human  cannot be that focused on a huge border line that it can see every thing crossing border.

So to overcome this problem we will make our product which will detect the objects and alarm the main tower of army.This product have more options like telling the distance of the object to four meters and tracking the person,locking the person means a light or laser that will chase or move within the person. This project will not fully remove the responsibility from their soldiers, but shares the maximum responsibility and will reduce human mistakes on the border.it also used in restricted areas where no one can enter without permission.

The technical working of the project is that The camera will sense a moving object inside the range, provide the signal to microcontroller, in response, microcontroller generates the code on the site and send to the watch tower where the receiver receives the code, provides code to microcontroller, interprets the location of the object corresponding to received code, activates targeting system and it start tracking the moving object sending location to the tower.

We Have made this product as our final year project and we think that this will be very important product for army and other restricted areas.

It will be very benifical for us as we don’t have this thing on market level.and with time we will add more advancement and innovation in our product that will make it user friendly and we will also work on its range for detection.

Project Objectives

The Project is useful because till today, border is protected by Iron Spike wires, and a watch

Tower containing a person continuously flashing the light over the border area day and night.

Those persons are fully responsible for any intrusion.

Many of our soldiers have been sacrificed due to the unexpected attacks of terrorists on. Our

Border areas. Terrorists cut the wires on borders and attack the soldiers silently.

Our aim is to develop such system that will help the soldiers to locate and detect a moveable

object and lock its position within the range of Sensor. So, it will help us to avoid more sacrifices

 of soldiers. To fulfill this aim we are developing the Sensor Based Automatic targeting System 

for Border. The project will not fully remove the responsibility from their soldiers, but shares the

 maximum responsibility and will reduce human mistakes on the border. as well as in restricted areas for safety purpose.

Objective:

  •  Automatically detect any moving objects in the range of camera.
  • It will be able to sense object via digital camera or visual sensor.
  • It will be able to find exact location of object.
  • Automatically target its position.
  • Camera will cover the whole 180-degree rotation on x-axis along with the LASER by the virtue of a DC stepper motor.
  • Movement and synchronization of stepper motor and servo motor for desired position w.r.t target.

Project Implementation Method

Components used:

JETSON NANO.

PI CAM.

LASER.

SERVOS AND STEPPER MOTORS.

DRIVERS PCA 9685 AND L298N.

we connect the camera with jetson nano and with the servos and servos to the stepper . the camera will do image process through jetson nano and through image processing the servo and stepper move along with the moving object and track the moving object and the laser pointed along moving object
