Automatic synchronizers are widely employed to connect more than one synchronous generator. An automatic synchronizer is a device that can perform all or part of the functions required to synchronize a generator. It can provide control signals to the generator and exciter to match the frequency, voltage and phase angle to the system, and it can close the breaker. A generator cannot deliver power to an electrical power system unless all the foregoing parameters exactly match those of the network. The need for synchronization arises when two or other alternators work together to supply the power to the load. If the phase angle is different between both the systems synchronization will not be possible and the system will not connect with each other. There is a possibility of a short circuit between the generators and system will be damaged. There are two types of synchronisers: Check synchronisers and. Auto-synchronisers. We are working on auto synchronizer. In manual synchronization the readings of parameters are set manually and in auto synchronization generator generate signals through feedback which it gets from the DC meter and through that it checks the parameters. Feedback is given to the system and controller decide whether the system should be trip or not. If the system does not trip the controller sends the signal back to the system whether the field winding in signal generator should be increased or the rotating speed of rotator they both should be match. The controller controls how much they should be increased the following controllers are used for this (PI, PID, PI) on the basis of these controllers, decide how much the parameters should be increased. When the controller decides both the system synchronized with each other. There is a breaker between the two systems for the short circuit when the breaker trips the system starts to work. The synchronizing of the generator is done with the help of three bulb method in case of emergency. It is of utmost importance that before paralleling the generators the frequency and voltage, phase angle of the generators need to be matched. One of the biggest benefit of this is to synchronized multiple generators in one time. If the system gets blackout due to the neutral short circuit. Technical Details of Final Deliverable

The speed (frequency) and voltage of the isolated generator must be matched, and the rotor angle must be close to the instantaneous power system phase angle prior to closing the generator breaker to connect the isolated generator to the power system. Our system gets efficient with the help of cloud based monitoring system and in automatic synchronization we do not need to check the parameters separately. They are handled automatically.
