The Automatic Human Following Shopping Cart and product scanning  is consist of two part one is product scanning and generated bill on sccreen . Barcode scanner is to scan or read a barcode symbol and then provide an electrical output to a LCD via a decoder and cable. The decoder recognizes the type of barcode symbology it is seeing, translates the bar and space content and transmits data to a computer in a human readable format.and other is

Power Window Motors which are very high torque motors,these motors are connected to 4 channels relay and the four channels relay is directly connected

 to 12 volts battery to provide power for the motors. And the relay is operated by arduino transmitting

 logics to four channels relay through analog output pins connected to four input pins of the 4 channels relay.

The arduino will be directed by means of sensors.

Project Objectives

lThe Automatic Human Following Shopping Cart and product scanning  is consist of two main part one is human following and other part is product scanner. product scanner scan the product as the scanning is done the cost of the product will automatically be displayed on the screen attached to the cart. The the another part is to prepare logics and proper programming of the Cart. As we are going to design a cart which scan the product and  move heavy loads, and therefore we used Power Window Motors which are very high torque motors

lIn shopping mall customer convenience they have to pull the trolley for each time to collecting items and simultaneously. After purchasing, customer want to pay the bill for their purchasing. In that time, they have to wait in a long queue to get their products scanned using RFID reader with help of barcode Scanner and get their billed

l saves customers time.

lIt also reduces the payoff given for workers.

l It is possible to rewrite the RFID tags.

l  It doesn’t need line of sight.
