This automobile accident detection and observant systems provides rescue teams with crucial information at the earliest hour. Mortality rates changes by reducing the time between accident occurrence and its detection. These systems are however expensive and are not easily available in all automobiles. To further increase this system can be used to indirectly detect accidents through different sensors, such as accelerometers. In future we will interface different sensors with this paper, such as alcohol detector, drowsiness detector, heartbeat detector etc. In term of these systems, we can prevent disruption in real life and save humanity. This project work contributes vehicle accident detection and alarm system with SMS to the user defined mobile code. The GPS tracking and GSM module’s alert based algorithm is designed and used along with AT89C51(8051) Microcontroller in embedded system domain.The proposed Vehicle accident detection system can track geographical data automatically and sends an alert message related to accident. Experimental work has been carried out carefully. EEPROM is interacted to store the victim’s mobile numbers permanently. This made the project more user-friendly and reliable. The proposed 33 Air University CONCLUSION AND FUTURE WORK scheme is verified to be highly beneficial and serviceable for the automobile industry

Project Objectives

The possible applications of this research are to save human lives and rescue them as early as possible .The main objective of this project is to detect the vehicle accident and transmit information to the hospitals and police control room. So hospitals and police control room will get the exact location by the geographical coordinates transmitted via message with the help of map. The delay 3 Air University INTRODUCTION in reaching of ambulance to accident location and the congestion in traffic between hospital and location where accident occurred increases chance of death. To overcome this problem our automatic vehicle accident rescue system will come to rescue the victim .This IOT based system will help to reduce the loss of human lives due to accident .The accidents can be detected by developing a technology that can communicate with parents and alert them when any terrible accidents happened.,The Parents will be able to receive a text message on their mobile phone as an aware.Inattention of driver is one of the reasons for accidents,during nights. One of another important factor for the vehicle accidents is driver drowsiness.We can also solve this problem by using IR sensors.

Project Implementation Method

At present touchstone, we cannot detect where the accident has transpire and hence no statistics related to it, leading to the death of an individual. The research work is going on for tracking the position of the vehicle even in dark clumsy locality where there is no network for receiving the signals. In our project GPS module is used for tracking the location of the vehicle. GSM is used for transmitting, mobile, voice and data services operates at 850MHZ, 900MHz, 1800MHz and 1900MHz and the ARM controller is used for saving the mobile number in the EEPROM and sends the message to it when an accident has been detected. Hence with this project implementation we can locate the position of the vehicle where the accident has occurred so that we can provide the first aid as early as possible

An SMS will inform whether your vehicle moving or at rest. 3. The device ensures vehicle security and detection. 4. Simple and Reliable Design: You can easily embedded this system in vehicle such as cars, boats and motorbikes. 5. You can also use it to keep track on your driver. It reduces vehicle abuse and ultimately results in significant cost-savings for individuals.

Stolen Vehicle Recovery: Both consumer and commercial vehicles can be outfitted with RF or GPS units to allow police to do tracking and recovery. In the case of emergency, police can activate the tracking unit in the vehicle directly and follow tracking signals.

Asset Tracking: Companies needing to track valuable assets for insurance or other monitoring purposes can now plot the real-time asset location on a map and closely monitor movement and operating status.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

The purpose of this work is to find the vehicle exact location using GSM and GPS module. The advent of technology has also increased the traffic hazards and the road accidents .Our approach is to eliminate the delay between accident occurrences.Whenever the accident will happen the information will be sent through GSM modem. This work is implemented on microcontroller based GSM communication. So this system should be installed to detect accidents.Our project will provide an optimum solution to this draw back. An accelerometer can be used in a car alarm application so that dangerous driving can be detected. With signals from an accelerometer, a severe accident can be recognized. According to this project when a vehicle meets an accident immediately Vibration sensor will detect the signal or if a car rolls over, and Micro electro mechanical system (MEMS) sensor will detects the signal and sends it to microcontroller. Microcontroller sends the alert message through the GSM MODEM including the location to police control room or a rescue team. So the police can immediately trace the location through the GPS MODEM, after receiving the information. Then after conforming the location necessary action will be taken. If the person meets with a small accident or if there is no serious threat to anyone’s life, then II Air University Automatic Vehicle Accident Detection and Security Theft Detection the alert message can be terminated by the driver by a switch provided in order to avoid wasting the valuable time of the medical rescue team
