secure fuel delivery, ensuring that the customer gets the equivalent amount of fuel for what he/she is
paying. Thus successfully eliminating any sort of malpractices that might occur at a various fuel
stations. In this project, we are developing an automated fuel station management system that can overcome the disadvantages of manually operated fuel stations. The result of this methodology will place cashless transactions and authenticated systems. It will also help to save the cost of audits at fuel stations and can help fuel stations to become faster and time saving. Normally in petrol bunks, there is a Human to Human interaction. Our project is to overcome this phenomenon by bringing the interaction between humans and software. With the proposed mechanism it can avoid the common errors that a human makes.
In recent days the distribution of fuel is controlled manually. Even though there are a lot of automatic
systems existing but still, there are some constraints. For the safe distribution of the fuel, we are
trying to develop an advanced system. In Pakistan, there are many problems in fuel distribution such as waste of time, lack of reliability in the sales system, and corruption in transactions. Furthermore, for the security of fuel stations, GSM technology will be used to send messages to authorities. In this system, we use a flow sensor to sense the flow of fuel into the tank. The required quantity of fuel is typed using the keypad. The amount typed will be sent to the pump system through the data modem and the corresponding fuel for that price will be sent to the vehicle’s tank."

Project Implementation MethodSmart Automated Petrol Pump is a project based on the idea to implement a system of controlling petrol pump’s all working using the Human machine interfacing i-e Nextion Lcd and RFID module.
In this self-service, customer shall either pay, before filling or after. This project differentiate itself because of use of Nextion Lcd and RFID module in its installation and designing. A system is available for customers. At first, customer will scan his or her card to see if he is a registered customer or not?
If registered then customer will be allowed to enter the desired amount and costumer gets the identical measure of fuel for what he or she has paid. If customer is not registered he or she will not be allowed to carry forward the further process. In short, this system is providing a security to the users. Customer can enter amount or fill tank to its capacity. Sensors sense the tank presence then allow the petrol to flow.
Benefits of the Project- The individuals have to undergo from the difficulties at a fuel pumps like no right administration, fraud or cheating and Risk of Robbery, hence, this idea is the comprehensive panacea to all these complications. And as the world is heading towards the advancement of techie, there will not be any problem in implementing this technology.

- LCD Arduino interfacing Project is started with the interfacing of LCD module with the Arduino
- keypad Arduino interfacing: In second Step a keypad is interfaced with the Arduino. On pressing the any button detection can be observe on virtual monitor 9600 bond rate.
- Interfacing of LCD keypad and Arduino: After the interfacing of LCD and Arduino and interfacing of keypad and Arduino now it is time to combine all. A Arduino is interfaced with LCD and keypad at the same time.
- Addition of Pump and Relay A relay is replaced by the LED showing in figure above. Realy operates on LOW signal. wire connections are done on Normally open(NO) ports. A water pump is added in series with the relay.Water pump requires 12 volts to operate. so it can not connect directly to Arduino(which is working on 5 volts). A relay is needed.
- Interfacing of Arduino with Flow Sensor :Flow sensor has three pins. Vcc ground and signal pins. signal is a input pin which generate a signal with respect to the flow rate of water.
- Interfacing of LCD,keypad,Flow Sensor and Arduino :There is no more need of any counter as we have sensor to measure the flow rate and amount of passed water. A algorithm in the figure below explaining all the working till here
- Radio Frequency(RF) Module RFID system works on the principal of back scattering of radio waves from card to module. A tag is built up in cards with combination of inductance and capacitance. MFRc522IC module propagates RF waves after back scattering waves are received by MFRc522IC with data of tag ID.
- To finalize the completion of the project some hardware components to be connected to system examples are mentioned above. major task was the simulations which has completed in previous section. hardware portion would be explained.
