Project ObjectivesThe economy of many countries depends on agriculture. To achieve the best quality from this research, it is important to focus on some vital characteristics such as the appropriate amount of electricity as well as water supply and a suitable schedule for irrigation of crops. Farmers are
facing problems in meeting these standards, especially those living in poverty. This project looks into developing an automated irrigation system that could be controlled through mobile application. This system will work to minimize the number of workers in a crop field, control and save water
and electricity, Increase agricultural production using small quantities of water, minimize manual intervention in watering operations with increasing watering speed
Project Implementation MethodThe automatic irrigation system was designed to continuously sense the moisture and temperature level of the soil. The system responds appropriately by watering the soil with the exact amount of water required and then shuts down the water supply when the required amount of soil moisture is achieved.
Benefits of the ProjectAutomated agriculture system is very necessary which could help farmer and owner. Unofficial increase in crops prices can be controlled.
Loss of yield can be controlled that is due to lack of water and nutrients.
Automated system helps the farmer to get rid from manually controlled system
Temperature nutrients content and water will be controlled automatically
Fertilizer process has been done by system which aware the user to maintain fertilizer process properly.
Technical Details of Final DeliverableThe automated irrigation system works by continuously monitoring the soil moisture content and wirelessly activating the pipeline valves to open when the moisture level drops below the minimum threshold for the cultivated crop, causing the land to be irrigated.
