Exercise doesn't just keep you trim it helps you stay energetic, Physically, and mentally healthy. A Fitness gym is a right place for it and proper exercise, diet and guidance are important. But at the gym, 2/3 trainers deal with 60/70 people and personal trainers are expensive.

Project Summary

Exercise doesn't just keep you trim it helps you stay energetic, Physically, and mentally
healthy. A Fitness gym is a right place for it and proper exercise, diet and guidance are
important. But at the gym, 2/3 trainers deal with 60/70 people and personal trainers are
expensive. Due to distributed trainer attention, people inadvertently do the wrong exercise
that can lead to serious injuries. Injuries have increased 35% since 1978 (University of
Arkansas report ).There is a lot of scope for our artificial intelligence gym trainer. As has been done before,
the work is on "Kaya Personal Trainer". The functionality of this app is that it works on 16
points and suggests various exercises related to these points to the user, if they are wrong,it sends voice notes that you are doing wrong. It doesn't work with equipment and lasts but
not least, it's paid. It will only tell you about the exercises step and detect the exercises and
that's it. But our AI gym trainer will detect the pattern of the exercise. It will detect not
only 16 but also 33 points as well as use equipment. It's very affordable because it's free
and if people have personal weights and machines at home, they can easily use them in
their home. Last but not least it will give a diet plan and weekly exercise plan in a
professional way. So, our app is unique in its own way. Once the user has given all this
input. It will take some information that is user's BMI, age, and gender as input and then
work accordingly.
With the selfie camera of a smartphone, the Artificial intelligence Algorithm can analyse
movements in real-time, track user's movements, ensure proper form during exercise.
Computer Vision will make exercise fun and safe through our app.

Project Objectives

This document contains all the functional and non-functional requirements for the AI gym trainer
that will be the standard for the development of the product. This SRS serve as a guidelines for
artificial intelligence specialist, developer and stakeholder .Our goal is to strengthen people’s
fitness so that they can perform better in any area of ??life .But according to University of Arkansas
report, Injuries have increased 35% since 1978 due to wrong exercises [1]. So our artificial gym
trainer will make everyone’s life easier and Computer Vision will make exercise fun and safe
through our app. With the selfie camera of a smart phone/desktop, intelligence Algorithm can
analyze movements in real time, track user’s movement, ensure proper form during exercises.

Project Implementation Method

AI GYM Trainer App’s goal is to strengthen people's fitness so that they can perform better
in any area of ??life. So, our AI gym trainer will make everyone's life easier. It will take some
information as input and then work accordingly. Whether it's a weekly exercise plan or a
diet plan. Our concern is the general audience. Because we want to facilitate most people
like students, employees, and others. So, we're going to the general category. Our app is
interesting for people who are always interested in the gym, will be unique for trainers as
well as trainees as it is cost-friendly and creative as it will suggest a diet plan to everyone.
This project is very useful in terms of learning outcomes. All logic will be built on the
backend of the Django framework and the user interface will react native. The technical
complexity is how to effectively connect the backend with the user interface. We have
carefully selected this combination of backend and UI so that the user does not face any
delay and has a good experience whenever he uses the app. Overall, we will work on
Artificial intelligence, computer vision, and mobile application. On Computer vision and
Django framework, we will use python programming language, and on react native we will
use JavaScript.
Jupiter notebook and visual studio will use as software respectively.
Mainly we will work on Open-CV and media pipe libraries of computer vision to detect the
exercises. To detect the angle, we will work on 33 angles which will be taken as a dataset.
One of the prominent techniques we will use throughout the project is developer
operations. The overall motivation for this project is that people can work on their fitness
freely without the help of a trainer or others.

app will recommend exercise plans and diet plans in a professional way. If people have personal
weights and machines at home, they can easily use them in their home but they must be under
any trainer. And the salient feature is the live detection. To detect the angle, we will work on 33
angles which will be taken as a dataset.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

The main features of the projects are:
1. User’s age
2. User’s Bmi.
3. User’s gender.
Which the app will take as input. Based on these functions, the app will recommend:

5. Diet plans.
6. Salient feature is live detection
7. All the exercises will be detected live and if the exercise is wrong, this app will tell the user
immediately.
8. The system allows users to login in otherwise he/she will have an option to create an
account to login.
9. The system have the user profile.
10. The system have the admin profile.
11. The system is connected through DB, which contains information about the users.
12. This will also show progress after the completion of specific tasks.
