The smart first-aid vending machine will hold the immediate medical supplies like,
bandages, over-the-counter pain killers and anti-septic gels or swabs. The idea of the
project is to build a low-cost vending machine which will help out the people on the
road suffering from a minor injury or a headache. With the RFID card mechanism, the
machine has been built easy-to-use for people belonging from any social status. The
proposed vending machine model ensures to aware the installer for a refill before a
certain product runs out. A GSM module is used to build this communication link which
will allow the machine to send a message to the installer using Arduino microprocessor.
The Internet of Things (IoT) provides a method of ubiquitous connectivity by connecting various sensors and devices. The proposed hardware will help us to extend the connectivity of our system to the various users. Thus, the system can be associated with smartphones and the other devices.
To provide people with immediate medical supplies in case of emergencies on the
road.
To develop a system which does not require any staff for checking the product
availability.
To form a connectivity in a mordernised manner through IoT.
The work flow will be followed as such:
Exterior of the hardware (Vending machine)
Database creation for RFID and GSM technology
Integration of IoT technology.
The proposed vending machines are easily available and portable and can be placed
anywhere.
Since the medicine placed in those vending machines that will be affordable for every
injured person.
Person have to place the payment and get the medicine without waiting in long queues.
The technical details of final deliverables are as such:
The RFID technology would be integrated into the system through th Arduino mega board.
The GSM module would be connected through the Arduino mega board as well.
The WiFi microchip would be connected to it the similar way in order to make the system easier and smarter.
