Project Area of Specialization Augmented and Virtual RealityProject SummaryWith a report of all the work completed in AR games, this section aims to connect and interpret the position of AR games. An FPS game model that offers full-body intercommunications to help develop a VR experience. This idea presents a new design of improving virtual reality within the integration of a certain haptic feel. This activity has shown that gaming has the power to provide an extreme amount of enjoyment to gamers, its improved realism results in a reduction of gaming achievement and demands further human/physical applications. From the reviews and feedback received from the player, we have known that we have to add some gestures into the game to upgrade this model.
Project ObjectivesThe aim to build this game is to spread awareness among people the need and use of AR technology. It could be used in military department, healthcare, and education. The scope and objective is to simplify daily human needs.
Project Implementation MethodIt helps the interaction of virtual and human computers in reality by using AR development tools. It also gives way to Vuforia SDK Extension, a plug-in to dill and track and create games. The user will be given an AR Gun with which he/she can move the gun pointer and shoot their targets. On shooting the user gets a short vibration in their arms. The vibration is made possible with an Arduino UNO based vibration motor. The vibration motor is attached to the human arm to feel the gun fire feedback. The visual of the game is seen through HMD (AR Glasses).
Benefits of the ProjectThe benefits of AR based FPS game seems helpful in the department of simulation based army training and it further help in healthcare.And last what we have used it for First Person Shooting game.
Technical Details of Final DeliverableThe technical details of the project are as following:
1) The application Create on Unity 3D
2) It requires android device to play.
3) An haptic feedback added to feel the realistic approach.
