Project Summary
This Application is based on multiplayer first person shooter game Using Augmented Reality. We are creating a project in which user can experience multiplayer battle field in real world like user can use their smartphone and can compete with their friends. Commonly in FPS Games user are targeting a virtual character of their competitor but in this project, user will experience to target the real person through their device camera. We are using augmented reality for this purpose. First user will create a room like area of diameters, in which user will be restricted to play with in it. In case player go outside of this area player will slowly lose their live. Then user invites their friends in this room to play. As the game begins player has to target the other player to win the battle. As this is a multiplayer game player who survive till the last will win the battle. In this project we are using Unity as platform to build this game, ARCore for augmented reality. Firebase as backend, Unity Services, markers API for placing some weapons.
Project Objectives
Outcomes of this project is that it will promote the AR gaming as well as physical activity. As in normal gaming player sit at one place and play continuously for a long time but in this game, player has to move physically which will affect their health too. As well as it is an entertainment and social communication too.
Project Implementation Method
AR Core has been implemented for the integration of Augmented Reality.
Firebase Database has been integrated.
Asset store will be used for the graphical work.
Maps will be used to specify an area.
