Project Summary
The farmers especially of Pakistan does not have enough facilities to identify right diseases in their plants on right time. This situation leads them to buy inappropriate pesticides/drugs for their plants. Due to this their production decreases which effects their economy.
Neural-Network based classification of common diseases in tomato leaves will be an android application based on deep learning neural-network. Initially the application will identify 9 common diseases in tomato leaves and healthiness of the leaves. The application will also suggest latest and suitable remedies and medicines for affected plant.
Project Objectives
• To use deep learning in domain of agriculture.
• To help farmers identify diseases easily.
• To use mobile as a laboratory for tomato leaves test.
• To predict diseases of tomato leaves.
• To develop android application for the purposed problem.
• To provide remedies and solution for the diseases.
Project Implementation Method
First of all, data set will be collected and labeled for the deep learning models. The dataset will consists of 11 classes which consists 9 classes of diseases and 1 class of healthy and 1 class of unknown images. Different models of deep learning will be analyzed and studied for usage. And after that android application will be developed.
