Online working is common these days because of pandemic COVID-19. This pandemic changes the thought process of the whole world. In this changing era, it is the need of the hour that we should change our perceptions about hiring the right people for the right jobs. Before this pandemic, big events took place by international and multinational companies and were career fair. Now, this is not possible due to the fear of COVID-19. As we are living in the world of technology, where everything is in our hands, so we can arrange these events online without the tension about space, money, and most importantly SOPs to be followed. The main purpose of this "ONLINE JOB FAIR WEB APPLICATION" is to tackle the present situation of pandemic and to convert physical efforts into a less technological effort for the ease of alumni and the job seekers. We are planning to design a web application for creating an Online Job Fair event, which performs the same tasks as a physical event with less effort.

Project Objectives

1. Make an online platform for job fairs and reduce the physical effort.
2. To convert physical effort to less technological effort.
3. It basically helps the recruiters or organizations for their hiring purpose. I
4. t will help candidates who are searching for a job according to their abilities.

Project Implementation Method

The proposed system will be implemented with the help of a Web-based Application. It basically helps the recruiters or organizations for their hiring purpose and helps to show their point of view to the world through videos, presentations, their hiring managers which will present in the event on audio, video, and text conversations. On the other hand, it will help candidates who search for a job according to their abilities provides a user-friendly environment where they register themselves, attend events they are interested in, upload their resumes, take information from the recruiters about any query through live chats may be audio, video or text chats and through Webinars Question and Answer session can be held so that all their queries can be answered. There may be interviews held through zoom that will be on spot. The website opens with the main page where the title bar, contact info, and brand names will be displayed. In the title bar, there will be two registration options one for the company to register for their event and the other for the candidate to register in the database of the website permanently. After registration company event with a date and specified time will be shown to the candidate through a page. On click, any company event will open a short form that will be filled by the candidate to register in that particular event of the company. Link of the event will be sent to the candidate for attending the event. When the candidate clicks the link he will directly connect to the company employees through zoom software where he can chat with the recruiters, QnA can be performed through live chat, and much more. For this purpose, we will use the iterative model. In this model, we introduce the Project plan, Requirement Engineering, Project modules, Integration Testing, Acceptance Testing, Maintenance phase.

After the finalization of the website, we'll need to buy web hosting services for the site to make it available to the public.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

We are creating the final web application for the online job fair using the following coding languages and the softwares. For Front-end:

     HTML, CSS,JAVASCRIPT

For Back-end:

     SQL DATABSE, PHP, VB.NET

Softwares:

     Visual studio, Xampp, Web browser.

When the website is ready then we need to buy a web domain to publish the site and make it available to the public.
