Alzheimer's patients with passage of time losses his/her memory because of the disease, which significantly interferes with their daily life. It is estimated that incidence of Alzheimer's disease is rising with an estimated 160 million patients worldwide by 2050. The disease affects not only the patient, but also affects the caregivers, including family, friends, and care professionals.
Researchers and professionals suggest stimulating the memory of the Alzheimer’s patients to assist them cope with memory loss. For this purpose, we are developing an application for Alzheimer’s patient to help them live independently like every other individual. The purpose of this application is to keep the Alzheimer’s patient busy and engaged using our application while at the same time keep his/her family updated. This way the agitation of the disease can be delayed, and life quality can be improved. This is done through neuroplasticity allowing the brain to form new neural connections while using the application as an exercise for the brain. This may not stop the disease, but it can delay the severe conditions where life becomes unpredictably difficult.
This application allows the caregivers to upload their family’s and friends’ vintage pictures for their patients and ask them to recognize them on and off, also the names of the old players if patient had interest in sports or politicians if patient was interested in politics. The caregiver adds the patient’s daily rituals and habits that promote healthy mind. The activities added can notify them when to perform certain activity also add other activities such as brushing teeth, having breakfast, calling a friend, going for a walk, eating healthy, writing names of family members, writing a daily journal a talking application that keeps them engaged and active.
According to some research, stimulating one’s brain and socializing especially by using computer or mobile application with photos can help ease the agitation of Alzheimer’s. As there is no cure for Alzheimer’s disease, this application helps 60 million of people having Alzheimer’s worldwide to sustain their quality of life for as long as possible. This product is especially designed for Alzheimer’s patients and their caregivers. The role of the caregiver is to manage the daily ritual activities of their patient and the patient use the application to practice a healthy lifestyle, improve their brain health and overall health.This application is designed for Alzheimer’s patients and their caregivers. Neuroplasticity being the most effective way of treatment of dementia and no other specific treatment for this disease can help patients live a normal life.

Neuroplasticity being the most effective way of treatment of dementia and no other specific treatment for this disease can help patients live a normal life. This also provide an assisted living for the patient.
Technical Details of Final Deliverable- Alzheimer’s is the 3rd deadly disease with no treatment introduced yet. Memory loss is the main symptom of the disease and Neuroplasticity helps to delay these symptoms.
