Project Objectives- To train the model such that it can predict the gender and age of audience in the surrounding
- Camera that can detect audience in the surrounding accurately
- An algorithm that uses the pre-trained models, take input from the live camera feed, and recommend ads to the audience based on number of specific gender and age group in the surrounding
Firstly, tensor flow models are trained with thousands of images to detect the age and gender from the input feed. Secondly, these tensor flow trained models are used to predict the audience on the basis gender and age, then this data is fed into the recommender module which recommend the ads according to given audience. For the hardware point of view in case of standalone product, Raspberry pi is used to run the algorithm and camera module to detect the surroundings
Benefits of the ProjectThis ends the traditional advertisement that is running on loop in the malls purely based on assumptions.
As this system is Artificial Intelligence based that changes ad with respect to audience in the surrounding, this will lead to more ads viewability meaning more chances of generating sales than previous method of advertisement.
Technical Details of Final DeliverableA camera module that will detect the surrounding in the real time and will then send that input to the algorithm running on Raspberry pi that will classify the age and gender based on that, and this data then will feed into recommender module that will display most suitable ad based on that data on the attached screen
