This project will be developed to monitor the activities of students and teacher behaviour in the classroom, Monitoring employ during work & Monitoring security officer.

This is very beneficial in case of finding out the student behaviour concerning different subjects and teachers , monitoring employee during work& Monitoring security officer.

It is also useful for monitoring the behaviour of different level/grade students and different class timings of students.

Project Objectives

The main objective is to monitor the activity of an individual/ whole class./employes/security officer

It is the basic software of monitoring and can be used in areas like teacher&students, employees and security manager activity monitoring.

Project Implementation Method

It is a software project

It uses the camera to detect the activities of an individual and a group.

Store the active time, inactive time, camera's captured frames per second, number of faces, video's total captured time, alarm after a specific time of inactivation.

And represents the result is a graphically meaningful method

Benefits of the Project

• Make it possible for teachers to monitor! whether students take interest in his/her subject.
• Make it possible for the teacher if his/her teaching method is good enough to catch the concentration of students.
• The behaviour of students of different grades, sessions, batches can also be monitored.
• From it, we can compare the behaviour of students at the school level and college level.
• We can also compare students interest in 1st semester than last semester.
• We can compare private and government institute students at the same level.
• Also useful for comparing coeducation and separate classes students.
• Make it possible to judge the employ behaviour in the companies where the work is done on the computer.
• Also useful for HR department and companies in some cases.
• Check the security officer activity if he is actively monitoring all cameras footages.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

We need tools and technology which are :

• Anaconda Jupyter Notepad or sublime text
• Python libraries ”NumPy, os, Mahplotlib, win sound, Pandas”
• An open CV with python
• Cameras(internal, external)
• Haar Cascade(face & eyes)
• SQLite

OpenCV-3.4.0 needs to compile at least 1GB RAM with 2GB swap memory compulsory
