Project Summary

In Pakistan, Medical and rescue emergencies have always been caused the catastrophic loss in rural and urban areas. These emergencies include, but not limited to, road accidents, fire incidents, medical emergencies in school, home, collages, universities, and workplaces. In many of these emergencies, human life loss is mainly due to the delayed and improper first aid handling by untrained individuals. This has created a pressing need to devise a system where a trained volunteer can be contacted via a mobile app to the accident site. In our country, there is no proper ambulance service and first aid service is provided by the government, peoples help each other by thereon. Edhi, Chipa, KKF all these are no profit and non-government organization which helps peoples but they only provide ambulance services and with all the shrink roads and streets it always makes hazel for an ambulance to reach the victim on time. The scope of this project is tri-folded, first, we will develop a react native based mobile application similar to Careem, Food Panada, etc. Where a trained volunteer will be contacted via this mobile app. Second, we will arrange a training session at SZABIST University by medical experts. The medical kit will be provided to each trained volunteer. The volunteer is advised to attach this kit in their bikes, car, home, office, etc. In the third phase, we will establish a local command and control center to monitor the rescue activities.

   Our aim is, in any medical emergency the person to call our volunteer (called RAZAKAAR). The   person should say please call 'RAZAKAAR' for help. We will take it as success if we are able to save even a one life.The output of taking such initiatives will not only benefit our surroundings but it will also give  benefits to Pakistan socially and economically in the form of new startup.

   

Project Objectives

1. It is used to facilitate the citizen through an application where they can manage the uncertain conditions within minutes.
2. Training of people on how to respond in the medical emergency
3. This APP is used to provide fast emergency add to the accident victims through volunteers.
4. The System will be integrated with the information of local hospital and ambulance services.

Project Implementation Method

Analysis:

1.  We will research existing applications that implement LBA.
2. We will read research papers regarding LBA, and we will extract relevant information.
3.  We will research on how to make our application user-friendly.

Design:

1.  We will design the ERD, and other relevant diagrams before starting the implementation.
2.  We will design User Interface of our application.

Development:

1.  We will create cross-platform application.
2.  We will design and implement the database.
3.  We will start the implementation of our application.

Testing:

1. We will test all the components of our application.

Training of volunteer and distribution of kits:

1.  We will Train our volunteers (medical, physiological, social, law, ethics).
2. We will Distribute rescue kits to Volunteers.

Marketing:

1.  We will advertise our application on social media platforms.

Benefits of the Project

The system will be designed in the view to serve mankind on a volunteer basis.

        Benefits for Volunteers:

1. Each volunteer will be equipped with the training to handle the medical emergency and an emergency kit.
2. The volunteer will deal with the emergency and will also coordinate the hospitals/clinics and ambulance.
3. The volunteer will also be trained to handle crowed at accident site and stable the victim morally.

              Benefits for Users:

1. The system can benefit the person in a medical emergency in the metropolitan cities
2. The system will also uplift the inspiration to help others in our youth.
3. User will get treatment in emergency condition.
4. Training of User/Local people.
5. The nearby trained volunteers will be reached through mobile app to the accident site.

1. 1st Deliverable: Mobile Application.

For the development of mobile application, we will use react native technology and for database purpose we will use firebase database. The application will have following features
